Summer marks one of our students' favorite times of year - time for Blow Out Camp!
Each year, our middle school students attend Blow Out Camp, run by Xenos Christian Fellowship. Camp serves as an exciting and unifying (and even life changing) time for our students to start their school year off on a great foot.
Fifth graders arrived home from camp last Friday. Students in 6th-8th grade will attend upon their return to school from Summer vacation. Likewise our graduating 8th grade class will be attending EPIC, a camp specifically geared towards high school students.

Getting to camp is a team effort. Parents are asked to contribute a small portion towards camp expenses, and students use their own personal "Bling" from the school economy to help pay for themselves. (The student economy is funded by profits from the student run business, Harambee Imports.)
However, Urban Concern and Harambee Christian School try to raise the majority of funds through fundraisers inside the school, as well as from friends and supporters.
If you feel led to help a student attend camp, who otherwise can't afford it, please consider making a gift to Xenos's Humanitarian Aid Fund for Harambee Student Support.
A gift towards camp will reward students with an invaluable opportunity to grow in their love for God and others.
