August Nevada Lawyer: Health Care Law August, 2014 Nevada Lawyer

Since the passage of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, health care law has become a hot topic. August's issue of Nevada Lawyer focuses on what attorneys should know about it.

This issue highlights some of the key developments in health care law, including subjects like litigation risks and employer obligations under the Affordable Care Act, and it provides important information on the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.

Lawyers, whether in public, private or corporate practice, are getting more and more questions on these topics from clients and friends. Check your mailbox for this important issue, or read the magazine online at the state bar's website.

Appetizers, live music and conversation are all on the agenda for the evening. The event is a great place to make new friends and contacts, and to learn more about the section.
