Attending legislators include: Elliot Anderson, Greg Brower, Lesley Cohen, Wesley Duncan, Lucy Flores, Aaron Ford, Jason Frierson, Pat Hickey, Mark Hutchison, Justin Jones, James Ohrenschall, Michael Roberson and Tick Segerblom.

The reception will take place on Wednesday, October 9 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the offices of Kolesar & Leatham, 400 S. Rampart Blvd., Suite 400, Las Vegas. Date Correction: Judges Needed for 2014 Mock Trial Season

The State Bar of Nevada's Law Related Education (LRE) program is looking for volunteer attorneys to serve as scoring and presiding judges for the 2014 Mock Trial season. Scoring judges sit in the jury box during competition and rate the performances of student attorneys and witnesses on both sides of the case; presiding judges play the role that real judges hold in actual trials.

Next year's competitions schedule is:

Southern Nevada Regional Mock Trial Competition: Saturday, February 8, 2014, at the Regional Justice Center in Las Vegas.

Northern Nevada Regional Mock Trial Competition: (DATE CORRECTION) Friday, February 21, 2014, at the Bruce Thompson Federal Courthouse in Reno.

State Mock Trial Competition: Friday, March 7 - 8, 2014, at the Regional Justice Center in Las Vegas.

Attorney volunteers receive pro bono credit for assisting with the state bar's LRE programs. Those interested should contact Kathleen Dickinson at [email protected] or (702) 317-1408.
