Get Ethics, Education, Entertainment and Networking at One Reno CLE Event
First Independent Bank's "Ethics of Trial and Appellate Practice" CLE seminar will take place at The Grove at South Creek in Reno on Thursday, June 13, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Justice Michael Douglas, Justice James Hardesty and Judge Scott Freeman will discuss effective opening and closing arguments, use of expert witnesses (including treating physicians) and other topics, including appellate and writ practice. They will provide relevant Nevada Supreme Court cases and statutes for each topic and relevant clips from well-known films and television programs will augment the presentation. A networking reception will take place immediately following the seminar.
This is a great opportunity to fulfill the entire year's ethics requirement with one informative and entertaining event. Plus, since all proceeds benefit civil legal aid, the $125 tuition counts toward Rule 6.1 pro bono contributions.
