2013 Annual Meeting Schedule Now Available
Take advantage of beautiful Lake Tahoe and some great CLE programming by attending the 2013 State Bar of Nevada Annual Meeting. This year's meeting takes place July 25-27 at Harvey's Hotel & Casino.
Among this year's presenters are Tom Mauet, Professor Erwin Chemerinsky and the Justices of the Nevada Supreme Court. The Trial Academy returns with improved programming. Individual sections of the bar have carefully crafted breakout presentations and attendees will have more education options than ever: up to 16.5 hours of CLE credit are possible. Of course there is more to this annual event than education. Lake Tahoe is a great vacation destination, with plenty to do for the whole family.

Justice League of Nevada Unveils New Website
The Justice League of Nevada recently changed its name and contact information. On April 25, the organization changed its e-mail address to [email protected]. The mailing address and phone number have not changed.
Formerly the Nevada Law Foundation, Justice League of Nevada changed its name in order to create a sense of urgency toward generating the resources needed to support an equal system of justice for all Nevadans. To learn more about the league and its mission, visit its brand new website today!

Reminder to Members: Update Your Contact Information on the Bar's Website
State Bar of Nevada members can update contact information, including mailing addresses, e-mail addresses and phone and fax numbers, through the state bar's website.
First, sign in to your member profile. Your member login is capital NV, immediately followed by your bar number. The passcode is the last four digits of your social security number.
Remember, all members must now have an e-mail address on file with the bar!

Free Consumer Law CLE in Las Vegas
Nevada Legal Services and Senior Citizens Law Project, in conjunction with the National Consumer Law Center, are pleased to present a CLE on consumer law basics for attorneys with elderly clients. This instructive seminar will take place on May 15 from 10:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., at the Sahara West Library, at 9600 West Sahara Ave., Las Vegas.
Seminar attendance is free for attorneys agreeing to volunteer with Nevada Legal Services or the Senior Law Program. Tuition for non-volunteers is $50. Attendees can earn 4.5 CLE credits.

Las Vegas Latino Bar Association Mixer
The Las Vegas Latino Bar Association (LBA) is hosting a mixer on Thursday, May 16, at 5:30 p.m. The get-together will take place at Park on Freemont, located at 506 E. Freemont Street. No RSVP is required and new members are always welcome.
