Nevada Supreme Court Releases 2012 Annual Report

The 2012 Annual Report is now available via the Nevada Supreme Court's website

This year's report is more than 50 pages long and shows that civil, criminal and juvenile case filings are down for the year, but nearly 2,000 more family law cases were heard statewide.  The report also covers the Foreclosure Mediation Program, the Indigent Defense Commission and the Commission on Judicial Selection among many others.  The court also discusses events, such as the Judicial Summit and many law-related education programs.

Second Judicial District Implements New System for Jurors

The Jury Commissioner's Office for the Second Judicial District created a new automated system to help jurors and make the process of checking in for jury duty more streamlined and efficient.

Jurors are now able to submit their juror questionnaire online instead of by hand. The information entered by the jurors goes directly into the court's system.

The Jury Commissioner's Office also implemented a professional call-in system, known as IVR, allowing jurors to receive updates and instructions 24 hours a day.

  2. While browsing a case: Click on the Add to My Print Queue link at the top right of the screen.
.

Review your queue: To review your print queue, select View Print Queue from the Print menu. To remove the case from your print queue, click on the icon again.
