Assist Veterans through Project Salute
The Young Lawyers Section of the State Bar of Nevada and Nevada Legal Services are once again partnering with the Access to Justice Commission, Legal Aid of Southern Nevada and the Southern Nevada Senior Law Project to assist Nevada veterans through Project Salute. Sign up now to participate in this fall event; assist our nation's heroes and earn 3 CLE credits while receiving essential training on veterans' benefits issues.
Volunteer attorneys must obtain accreditation through the Veteran's Administration (VA); this requires the completion of a brief application. The accreditation process can take more than 90 days to complete, so volunteers should complete their applications as soon as possible. VA accreditation applications and more information on accreditation can be found on the VA's website.
Interested volunteers may contact southern Nevada chair Kevin Kam at kevinkam777@hotmail.com or northern Nevada chair Jordan Davis at jadavis@lionelsawyer.com.
