What are glial cells and what do they do? The central nervous system (CNS) is comprised of two types of cells, neurons and glial cells. Eighty-five to ninety percent of CNS cells are glia. Adhesive capsulitis, or a frozen shoulder, is a condition that affects 3-5% of the general population, generally females between 40 and 70 years old.
