This year's Annual Giving Fund campaign has wrapped up with the tremendously successful Run for Education! The PPIE Board has voted to donate a total of $515,000 to Pleasanton Unified to support our students! 
SCHOOL BOARD RECEIVES PPIE COMMITMENT - or as PPIE President Bob Miller says, our "force multiplier!"
As we previously reported to you, PPIE fully supports the mission of ensuring QUALITY education across all sites for all students. The Instructional Coaching model provides job-embedded professional development - in other words, IN the classroom training and support for teachers - which will reach all students at all levels, for many years to come. Our investment in education is multiplied many times over!

PPIE committed - and PUSD accepted - $330,000 to fund 4 additional positions for next year:

Instructional Coach - Technology (Scott Padway returning)
Instructional Coach - Math (new addition)
Instructional Coach (2) - Early Literacy (new additions)

We are now extremely pleased to report to you that PPIE will provide each middle and high school with additional site funds to support the implementation of the district-wide technology plan as determined by the principal and school site council for each respective site as follows:

Hart Middle School$30,000
Harvest Park MS$40,000
Pleasanton MS$40,000
Amador Valley HS$38,000
Foothill HS$30,000
Village/Horizon HS$ 5,000
HP Spec ED Preschool$ 2,000

RUN FOR EDUCATION RESULTS ARE IN!
The 3rd Annual Pleasanton Run for Education took place April 12, 2015, and was a resounding success - raising a record $96,000 that will benefit the PPIE Giving Fund!

Hosted by PPIE and Title Sponsor ClubSport Pleasanton, the event attracted close to 3,000 participants, an 11% increase from last year, making the event Pleasanton's largest family-friendly fitness fundraiser to date.
