Greetings SER Members!

SER2013 was our largest and most successful conference to date. We would like to personally thank each of our members (you!) for your active participation in the Society, its chapters, and its conferences and events. We hope to see you at CEER next July, and SER2015 in August 2015. Look for photos from the conference on our Facebook page.

As SER catches it's breath after SER2013, we wanted to send a few reminders to you. RESTORE will return to it's regularly scheduled posting every other Wednesday beginning October 30th, 2013.  Click here to access RESTORE archives. In the meantime, here are a few updates and notes from SER:

Upcoming SER Conferences:

• 2014 Conference on Ecological and Ecosystem Restoration (CEER) - CEER will be held July 28 to August 1, 2014. The Call for Abstracts is now open! CEER is a collaborative effort between SER and organizers of the National Conference on Ecosystem Restoration (NCER). CEER is an interdisciplinary conference and brings together scientists, engineers, policy makers, restoration planners, partners, NGO's and stakeholders from across North America actively involved in ecological and ecosystem restoration.
   
• SER2015: 6th World Conference on Ecological Restoration - We are pleased to announce that SER2015 will be held in Manchester, England in August 2015. More information to come.

Don't forget to keep up with SER regional chapters conferences and events in your area. Many of our chapters are currently planning their 2014 conferences and events, so be sure to check chapter websites for more information. We keep a listing of these events in each issue of RESTORE.
