1.  RECOGNITION - Leadership Awards Presented to Craig S. Murray and Rudy Puente
 
Rick Phillips and William Grace Frost of Community Matters presented leadership awards to Craig S. Murray, Executive Director of Student Engagement and Rudy Puente, Director of Student Services for their leadership role in work with Community Matters.
 
During the past 3-4 years, Craig and Rudy teamed up with TR administration and led multiple initiatives to create safer schools by implementing various programs and services in the district.
 
2.  PUBLIC HEARING and APPROVAL - Disclosure Certification and the 2015/2016 Tentative Agreement dated March 17, 2016 between Twin Rivers Unified School District and the California School Employees Association (CSEA)
 
The 2015/2016 Tentative Agreement between the Twin Rivers Unified School District and the California School Employees Association (CSEA) has been reached. The Agreement was ratified by CSEA on March 29, 2016.

3.  PRESENT and ADOPT - Resolution No. 569 / Intention to Form an Elementary School Facilities Improvement District and Notice of Public Hearing
 
Adoption of Resolution No. 569, A Resolution of Intention to Form An Elementary School Facilities Improvement District, indicates that the Board of Trustees has deemed it necessary and in the best interest of the District to form a school facilities improvement district pursuant to the SFID Chapter to finance school facilities and purposes authorized pursuant to Section 15100 of the Education Code.
 
Adoption of this resolution anticipates that it may be necessary and desirable to place a ballot measure for approval of bonds before the voters of the School District residing in said school facilities improvement district to finance the School Facilities.

4.  PRESENT - Charter Renewal / Creative Connections Arts Academy
 
The staff, parents, and students of Creative Connections Arts Academy (CCAA) presented their Charter Renewal Petition requesting renewal of CCAA for a five-year term from July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2021. The petition will be placed on the May 3 board agenda for approval.

5.  PRESENT - Alternative Education Update
 
An update on the work to provide increased program offerings to students in alternative education at Keema, Pacific, and Vista Nueva will be provided to the Twin Rivers Unified School District Board of Trustees.

6.  SECOND READING and ADOPT - Revisions to Board Bylaws and Exhibit
 
The Board of Trustees held a second reading with opportunity for the Board and members of the public to provide input, and adopted revisions to the following Board Bylaws and Exhibit:
 
 
7.  APPROVAL - Personnel Recommendations
 
The Board of Trustees approved all personnel recommendations. The recommendations included new hires, promotions, resignations, and leaves.
