1a.  RECOGNITION - Twin Rivers 2015-16 Public Speaking Contest Winners
 
The Board of Trustees recognized the 2015-16 Public Speaking Contest winners. TR had a total of 80 classes competing in this year's speech contest. In the end there were 12 finalists following classroom, school and semifinal contests. The Public Speaking Contest is aligned with Common Core State Standards (CCSS) in Speaking and Listening.

1b.  RECOGNITION - Band Performances by Norwood Junior High School and Martin Luther King Jr. Technology Academy
 
In anticipation of the TR Annual Festival of the Arts, bands from Martin Luther King Jr. Technology Academy and Norwood Junior High School performed for the Board of Trustees and community members.
 
2.  PRESENT - Western Association of School & College for Middle School
 
This presentation outlined the Western Association of Schools & Colleges (WASC) accreditation process for middle schools. A review, results, and next steps was provided to the Board of Trustees.

3.  APPROVAL - Personnel Recommendations
 
The Board of Trustees approved all personnel recommendations. The recommendations included new hires, promotions, resignations, and leaves.
