Greetings!
Each year on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, we take a moment to stop and reflect on the life, work and words of a civil rights icon. It's a chance to remember what he stood for and ask ourselves where we are as a nation and city on the path toward achieving his dream. I'm honored to be spending this MLK Day with Henry Ford Health System, for its 14th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration. I'll be giving a keynote address that reflects on the words of King as they related to how we address injustice and inequity as we work to improve our beloved Detroit. I invite you to join me.
