Youth workers graduate with support to impact Detroit's children
 Last week, in an unassuming conference room at the University of Michigan-Detroit campus, an excited group of adults who work with youth gathered for a special graduation, a first-of-its-kind moment for the city of Detroit. It was an event more than a year in the making, and one that will have an impact on the children in Detroit that reaches far past the walls of that downtown conference room.

The latest Kids Count in Michigan Data Book indicates that child well-being continues to slip. The report, which measures 15 indicators of child well-being, also ranks counties on the overall status of child well-being. Wayne County ranked 76th of 82 Michigan counties.
