State of the Detroit Child report coming Thursday
Data Driven Detroit this week will release its second State of the Detroit Child report, commissioned by The Skillman Foundation. The report includes information about the lives of Detroit kids, such as how many live in the city (about 35% fewer than 10 years ago) and how economically stable their families are (much less so than in 1999). The data illuminates what it means to be a child in Detroit today. Visit skillman.org Thursday and throughout the next few weeks for a detailed look at the report's findings, and check datadrivendetroit.org in the next 24 hours to see the full 31-page report.
