Tell us why you're thankful to be a Detroiter
What makes you thankful to be a Detroiter? The friendliness? The musical heritage? Or maybe the positive change you see taking hold in your neighborhood? As we gear up to celebrate Thanksgiving -- including the announcement of our annual Skillman Foundation float design competition -- we'd like to hear from Detroiters near and far (or simply at heart). Use the hashtag #ThankfulDetroit on Twitter to share your stories of thanks with us. We'll retweet our favorites. Connect with us on Twitter at @skillmanfound. And stay tuned for next week to meet the young artist who will be honored as this year's float design winner.
