SNAG Links Are Back!
As we prepare for our Auction of Masterful Links during SNAGneXt, here's a sneak peek at one of the 2016 links:
Cultigen by Linda Threadgill Sterling silver, 24k gold plated
Cultigen, refers to a deliberately modified natural plant form and reflects Threadgill's study of the origins of ornamental designs and the re-imagining of nature. With botanical imagery as a reference, her recent work is an exploration of symmetry, pattern, and arrangement alluding to natural representation. Threadgill resides and maintains a studio in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She is a Professor Emerita from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. |
