Send in Your Studio Sweeps & Unwanted Jewelry
Ethical Metalsmiths has teamed up with SNAG for a unique fundraiser and we need your help! Winter is a busy time in jewelry studios. With commissions, sales, and gifts being made you have likely accumulated sweeps and scraps. Collect them and consider mailing them in as a donation. These can be turned into valuable dollars that help SNAG and EM continue to offer valuable programming and opportunities to its members. Sweeps and scraps will be refined at Hoover & Strong.
Send them any time before January 30. Use this form and mail your sweeps and other jewelry items to Peter Calvert, c/o Ethical Metalsmiths, PO Box 18161, Richmond, VA, 23226. |
 Thank You For Supporting SNAG
Thank you to everyone who donated in 2015! Next week we'll report on how much we were able to raise with our year-end campaign.
You can still make a donation of any amount and invest in SNAG's future. Donate now |
SNAGneXt is Coming!
Registration for SNAGneXt opens January 19th. That's just two weeks away! Watch for our conference emails every Thursday. |

Call for entries. It is no secret that makers + smiths are a crafty bunch! With Moves Like MacGyver will highlight jewelry, objects and the tools created to make these pieces a reality. The exhibition will examine the creative processes of the individuals represented, giving viewers a glimpse at how artists improvise, exquisitely craft, or get downright inventive to get the job done. Juried by Tim Lazure and Randy Long. Scheduled at Zoom Milwaukee and Baltimore Jewelry Center. Deadline extended to January 21. |
