SNAGneXt Call for Proposals Update 

SNAGneXt will take place in Asheville, NC from May 19-21, 2016. SNAG is now finished collecting presentation proposals.   

*However, proposal submissions made through the SNAG website on June 14th may have been lost, due to a server problem on that date. Anyone who made a submission on June 14th should resubmit it. Even if you received an automated confirmation from SNAG, please forward that along with your submission directly to mhampton@snagmetalsmith.org no later than this Friday, June 26th.

2015 SNAG Educational Endowment Scholarship Recipients Announced

At the SNAG conference in Boston we announced the six recipients of the 2015 Educational Endowment Scholarships.

Three are given to students, and three to emerging and mid-career artists. These are SNAG's most highly competitive scholarship awards.

SNAG member Elizabeth Goluch is the focus of the short documentary film "Lady Bug," released by the Craft Alliance and the Nova Scotia Designer Crafts Council. It is the fifth in a series of films about some of Nova Scotia's master craftspeople. Goluch's metal insect sculptures can take months to research and fabricate.
