Linking Our Lineage
Linking Our Lineage is an ebook of jewelry and metalsmithing techniques with chapters by Nanz Aalund, Lessley Burke, Juan Carlos Caballero-Perez, Andy Cooperman, Ronda Coryell, Robin Gordon, Mary Lee Hu, Linda Kaye-Moses, Brian Meek, Dawn M. Miller, Chris Ploof, and Jayne Redman, and edited by Victoria Lansford. The processes illustrated range from beginning to advanced and are presented with over 130 color photographs and 7 videos. SNAGneXt Call for Proposals Deadline is Today!
SNAGneXt will take place in Asheville, NC from May 19-21, 2016.
SNAG is seeking presentation proposals around the theme of COMMUNITY. How does your community help you to be successful? What about community, as an artist, is important to your success? Have you created your own community to help your success? How do you share your success with your community? Do you make your living by working with your community? Deadline is today, June 15th.

Case of the Nomads
SNAG member Casey Sheppard is converting her vehicle to a live/work space to take a year-long U.S. tour to connect communities. She will be getting involved, volunteering, and teaching workshops, while keeping a blog about her travels. Casey is currently seeking schools, art centers and other venues to teach workshops on cold connection and found objects. She also invites students and staff to join her after the class for a tour of her traveling metal studio. Learn more

The Language of Color
Patina Gallery presents the work of collaborative jewelry artists Steven Ford and David Forlano with The Language of Color, through June 28. Ford and Forlano work in vibrant polymer clay which they fold and blend to create an intricate design. Inspired by seed clusters, shell formations, and flower buds, the works have individuality in shape as well as color. Learn more
