SNAG Conference Recap
SNAG was thrilled to welcome an unprecedented 225 newcomers/first-timers at this year's conference. We also had 217 students. And attendees were from 43 of the United States! We also had the largest Trunk Show to date with 73 sellers. It was a great conference! Keep an eye out for our 2015 SNAG Boston survey. It is an important way for us to hear how you think the conference went, and for getting critical feedback for future events. We were all were snapping pictures of presentations, events, tours, and all the fun we had in Boston. We'd love to see what images you captured! SNAGneXt Call for Proposals Deadline Extended
SNAGneXt will take place in Asheville, NC from May 19-21, 2016.
SNAG is seeking presentation proposals around the theme of COMMUNITY. How does your community help you to be successful? What about community, as an artist, is important to your success? Have you created your own community to help your success? How do you share your success with your community? Do you make your living by working with your community? Deadline extended to June 15, 2015.

Spaces of Production
SNAG is supporting Spaces of Production this summer at The Center for Craft Creativity & Design, Asheville, NC. It is a series of three artist-led projects focusing on community engagement. The first project, Ex.Change - My Time for Your Time, begins this Friday, June 5th. It is a special exhibition and outreach project where participants can leverage their unique and personal efforts to create a greater impact within their community. Ceramic artist Michael Strand is inviting those in and around Asheville to consider completing five hours of volunteer work that can be Ex.Changed for one of his limited edition, handmade cups. California Handmade: State of the Arts
Craft in America is pleased to announce California Handmade: State of the Arts, an exhibition of innovative sculpture, furniture, textiles, jewelry and decorative arts by more than 80 visionary California artists, curated by Craft in America Center Director, Emily Zaiden. The exhibition opens June 7 at the Maloof Foundation for Arts and Crafts in the foothills of Alta Loma. A smaller, companion exhibition will open in July at the Craft in America Center. Learn more
