WE ARE SNAG: Identity
SNAG is excited to present WE ARE SNAG: Identity, an online exhibition. This is the first in a series of juried exhibitions featuring SNAG members and celebrating the breadth and diversity of their field. The exhibition was juried by Tim McCreight, C. James Meyer, and Stacey Lee Webber.
The expansive community of SNAG encompasses everyone from makers, designers, craftspeople, writers, artists, students, teachers, hobbyists, and more. Such a collection of rich backgrounds create a community excited to engage in thoughtful conversation and critical discussion. This is why SNAG has been so successful at preserving tradition while simultaneously forging forward and embracing innovation. It isn't hard to see why SNAG continues to spark captivating discussions and cultivate innovative new ideas!
WE ARE SNAG: Identity celebrates the talented members of SNAG. It gives a glimpse into the collection of stunning, colorful, and unique works they work so hard to create.

UNIQUES Holiday Sale Continues!
UNIQUES is a silent auction of one-of-a-kind, limited edition, unusual, and other handmade contemporary art jewelry and small metals. This time SNAG has partnered with the International Society of Glass Beadmakers. UNIQUES helps SNAG members gain exposure and sell work while helping SNAG raise funds for programming. The first auction ends today. Unsold items will then be available again until December 15th.

2015 "Exhibition in Print" Moved by Metal: On Beauty as Interaction
Call for Related Work
For SNAG's 2015 "Exhibition in Print," curator Wendy Steiner seeks out metal objects-jewelry, sculpture, tools, gadgets-from any culture, that incite revelatory responses in their viewers. While with jewelry the beauty of an object almost inherently involves an interaction with its audience/wearer, other metal objects can be as programmatically interactive.
