Arts Business Institute Scholarship
The Arts Business Institute is offering scholarships for artists to attend the 2015 Winter Workshop taking place at the American Made Show in Washington, DC on January 17-18, 2015. One full $250 scholarship will be awarded to an artist who is a member of SNAG and whose work falls into the jewelry or metalsmithing categories. This scholarship is sponsored by the SNAG . For SNAG's 2015 "Exhibition in Print," curator Wendy Steiner seeks out metal objects-jewelry, sculpture, tools, gadgets-from any culture, that incite revelatory responses in their viewers. While with jewelry the beauty of an object almost inherently involves an interaction with its audience/wearer, other metal objects can be as programmatically interactive.
