2015 Call for Nominations and Candidacy

The Nominations and Elections Committee is seeking potential members to serve our organization. SNAG has provided opportunities, direction, friendship, and inspiration to its members for over 40 years. SNAG is our foundation, our gathering, and our tribe as makers, collectors, educators, gallerists, curators, and writers.

This is a call to action. If SNAG has helped shape your world and career, then perhaps right now is the time for you to stand with its other active members and decide to serve.

The 2015 Election will determine three (3) members of the Board of Directors, and one (1) member of the Nominations & Elections Committee.

The current Board of Directors along with Gwynne Rukenbrod Smith, our Executive Director, have refined the roles of the board, creating a positive and efficient leadership group. They are looking for devoted members who possess a breadth of experience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for wanting this community to succeed and grow.

This is your opportunity to help in securing the future of our organization, assuring that SNAG will continue to provide amazing experiences for another 40 years and beyond!

The deadline for candidates to be added to the 2015 Election slate is February 19, 2015.

If this sounds like a challenge worthy of your dedication, please contact a member of the Nominations and Elections Committee today. If you would like to speak to someone who has direct knowledge of SNAG initiatives, address those questions to the Chair.
