Connections: Conference News You Need to Know

A Perfect Day in Minneapolis Part 3
We have asked our conference co-chairs to share their favorite things to do in the Twin Cities. This week we are featuring Dominique Bereiter's suggestions. Minneapolis sounds full of great shopping and delicious food. We can't wait to see you there!

Dominique's day involves a visit to a great bookstore that's hosting the Wordsmith exhibition and some hip shopping.  After that, it's all about art.  Dominique describes several fantastic venues to see contemporary art, ceramics and architecture.  Enjoy!

Volunteer Spotlight: Parker Brown

Parker Brown lives in Carbondale, Illinois where he owns and operates his business, Crescent Moon Armoury, which specializes in custom historical armour for museums, martial artists and collectors.

Parker has been an active SNAG member since 2005 and volunteers at conferences as well as at SOFA.  We asked Parker why he volunteers and he said "SNAG is a member-based organization that needs the support of its membership to thrive."

Parker's chosen mentor would be Lorenz Helmschmied (ca. 1467).

Thanks, Parker!
