Red Carpet Call for Entry!

On the closing night of the 2014 Conference, we are offering a twist on the traditional Exhibition in Motion - with an Interactive Red Carpet Exhibition. Attendees become the models and are invited to select stunning jewels and wearable sculptures from the exhibit to wear down the red carpet and have their photo taken during this juried, interactive exhibition.

The red carpet is a symbol of luxury that while originally signified the path of royalty and heads of state during ceremonial occasions, now evokes images of celebrities in formal wear draped in jewelry. The red carpet can have a powerful effect on people causing even the most introverted to hold their head high and walk with a bit of swagger in their step.

This exhibition seeks jewelry and adornments that transform the wearer, perhaps changing their state of mind or evoking a strong emotional response. While there is no specific theme, pieces
that stand out on the body and that will show strongly in the exhibition photos are preferred.
