Connections: Conference News You Need to Know
Our conference will feature a presentation by Caroline Gore, Edgar Mosa & Kerianne Quick called Grains to Gold, Chewing Gum to Googly Eyes: Materiality in Contemporary Jewelry. This discussion will explore material specificity in contemporary practices. Kerianne Quick , Edgar Mosa and Caroline Gore will explore materials as potentially evocative elements. Rapid-fire presentations will follow a panel discussion to discuss the viability of material as a connector of histories, meanings, and contexts and the strategies used in contemporary practices that exploit or control the agency of material itself. Registration opens January 13th! We hope you're ready to join us for a fantastic conference! Find conference information here!
