Week of January 21, 2013
Greetings!
I am very pleased to announce that the 2013 SNAG business symposium "Forging Entrepreneurs: Tools and Skills for Business Success" will be held in San Francisco on Saturday October 19.
The coordinators of this year's symposium are Christine Dhein, emiko oye, and Kelly Nedderman, so you can count on it being a terrific program. Our partner is the Academy of Art University, with volunteer support from the Metals Arts Guild of San Francisco. Stay tuned for more details in the spring.
Registration for the Toronto conference opened last week. The lowest Early Registration rates are good through March 13. Sign up by March 13 and save yourself a good chunk of change.
NEW: This year's registration is being handled through EventBrite. Please read our January 16 broadcast email giving instructions on how to register or read them on our website. As with other registration or ticketing services, you will be charged a processing fee for your registration. In truth, we've been paying per-attendee processing fees to Meetings a la Carte all these years but we just can't afford to simply absorb them any longer. They cost SNAG between $25,000 and $30,000 depending on how many people register for the conference.
NEW: you must make your hotel reservations directly with the Royal York Hotel, to get our room block rate. Hurry - grab the early bird special if you make your reservations by February 15th ($179/night + taxes).
