Week of December 17, 2012
Greetings!
We have another exciting program coming in January, something we're calling Springboard, because it will launch you into a whole new place in your career, and there's something for everyone. It's a searchable online network for posting and pursuing an unlimited number of opportunities related to jewelry, metalsmithing and design. Jobs, internships, residencies, grants and scholarships, calls for entries of all kinds (e.g., exhibitions, publications, writing, curation), one-off workshops, conferences and symposia, studio space to share or rent, and used tools for sale or trade (by individuals). All in one place, all searchable by category. Springboard is free and open to members and non-members. Members' posts will go up as they are submitted. Non-members' posts will be approved before being posted, within 2-3 days of submission. Submit your opportunities using our user-friendly web forms (not by email or phone). Post just once and your opportunity stays up until the deadline passes.
And that's not all! Sign up for the RSS feed and receive the posted opportunities in your Inbox. Choose to receive all the new posts or select just individual categories you're most interested in. And share them easily on social media. Springboard is mobile and tablet friendly. Encourage anyone one who might have an opportunity to come use Springboard to get the word out. Say goodbye to SNAGnet. Springboard will be a thousand times more useful to you and easy to use. Don't Forget:
Membership dues are increasing on January 1, 2013. If you renew by December 31 you can lock in the current membership rate regardless of when your membership is scheduled to expire.
Take five minutes right now and renew your membership here.
