Things are very exciting here at Pinemere World Headquarters! Summer 2013 is now behind us and we are all focused on one goal: making summer 2014 our best summer ever. Our new Executive Director, Mitch Morgan, recently joined the team and his energy has been contagious. Mitch and the Pinemere Team are not only recruiting new families and spreading the word about our amazing camp, but they are meeting with alumni, campers, families, and staff to collaborate on moving Pinemere forward. More information about Pinemere updates will come in the next issue of the ePinemerit.
The reason for this letter is simple. WE NEED YOUR HELP!
It is the season of giving. Mitch and the Pinemere Team are passionately committed to giving everyone an amazing experience this summer. We need to do everything we can to help them make this a reality.
We are currently in a donation matching program in partnership with the Harold Grinspoon Foundation. Our organization is only $45,000 away from reaching the minimum level necessary to receive matching funds. We need your help and support to reach our goals and ensure that we have the necessary funds for programmatic excellence and to preserve the beautiful facility we all remember and use.
Gifts of $1800 or more are eligible for our matching program and the pledge form can be downloaded here. Gifts under $1800 are also welcomed! You can make your gifts online, by calling the Pinemere office at 215-487-2267 ext. 101, or by sending a check to 4100 Main Street, Suite 301, Philadelphia, PA 19127.
Other important notes:
- Gifts of $1800 or more can be spread out over 3 years (that's only $50 per month).
- Your gift is tax deductible.
- Credit Cards are accepted.
- Donors of all amounts will be invited for a special day and tour of camp during summer 2014.
