This teenage patient
was self-conscious of his teeth and smile.
His mother had spoken to a couple of our patients that have had cosmetic treatment and have been very happy with treatment and our services.
The patient and his mother wanted a second opinion on what could be done to correct his spacing, malalignment and retained baby teeth.
After examination and smile design, Dr. Paliani created a FREE Computer simulation to show them the proposed outcome of treatment.
Treatment was completed in 2 Appointments, less than 2 weeks apart and consisted of:
- preliminary impressions to help create protoypes after the first appointment.
- removal of the primary canines (Retained baby teeth that were loose and had poor long term prognosis)
- Cosmetic Dental Plastic Surgery to the gum area around the baby teeth so that the new teeth would look like they are coming out of the tissue naturally
- Porcelain Crowns on the upper front two teeth
- Porcelain Bridges on the other 3 teeth on both the left and right sides (3 Unit Bridges with Ovate Pontics)
The patient and his mother were extremely pleased with the smile design, computer simulation, and the final outcome.
