San Rafael Chamber of Commerce: Your Chamber Representing Local Values
I have been hearing a lot lately about the US Chamber, particularly its position on tobacco and climate change. It has been very timely news. Though the San Rafael Chamber of Commerce (SRCC) has not taken a formal position on tobacco, we do have a strong commitment to a more sustainable future, protecting the livelihood of our employees and the health of their families and ensuring a diverse workforce for the future of Marin County. It just so happened that the Board of Directors recently re-examined its relationship with the US Chamber and voted unanimously to NOT renew our membership based on these values.
The SRCC is a member-based business advocacy organization providing a strong voice in support of the economic vitality of our community. We are interested in the well-being of our entire community. Leading companies invest in the San Rafael Chamber because we have aligned ourselves with the local values that make San Rafael special.

Exhibitor Space for the 2015 San Rafael Chamber Business Showcase is Selling Fast!
Don't miss the 27th annual San Rafael Chamber of Commerce Business Showcase! It is the largest business expo in the North Bay, and the best way to get directly in front of your local residents, other business owners, neighbors and friends in the Community! This year's event takes place on Wednesday, September 9 from 4:00-7:00pm at the Peacock Gap Clubhouse in San Rafael. Due to the event's popularity and success, we moved to a new venue that offers more exhibitor space, lots of parking and the ability to host a larger audience.
Also, in our continued efforts to bring you quality events that help you gain the greatest exposure to the Marin community at large and to interact with a variety of local businesses, the San Rafael Chamber is proud to announce our partnership with both the Sausalito and Novato Chamber of Commerce. Sponsorships are available for additional business exposure!

Leadership Institute Testimonial:
I absolutely recommend the San Rafael Leadership Institute. The program proved a great source of knowledge on how the community functions and how we, as a business, can operate more effectively within the community. The sessions were relevant and interesting and the networking was excellent. I found the entire program completely worthwhile and enjoyable. The benefits far exceeded the minimal cost of this well-run program.
