Women’s History Month Next time you come into the Chamber offices, check out the wall in the Board Room where there is a picture of all the past chairs of the Board of Directors. I’m humbled and honored (and a little frustrated) to note that it has been 10 years since the last woman chairperson. In 2003, Pat Kendall chaired the board, and I was on the board at the time. Never in my wildest dreams did I feel worthy of assuming the leadership role on the board. Pat’s shoes are hard to fill, but I’m up to the challenge. more -> |
