Charlie Harrett
Charlie Harrett
Boyne Boat Yard names Charlie Harrett as president
Charlie Harrett has been appointed President of Boyne Boat Yard, a Van Dam Company. Harrett joined the business in January of 2015 as General Manager, and had an immediate impact on the growth and success of the company. He brought with him a lifetime of experience in the boating industry, competitively racing high performance sailboats, building world class racing sailboats, and managing operations for a successful marina. Charlie's enthusiasm for boating is infectious and as president of Boyne Boat Yard he assumes responsibility for its growth and for maintaining the commitment to the quality of service for which the Van Dam name is known. He believes that Boyne Boat Yard's success is dependent on the people in the organization, and Charlie is putting together a team that is experienced, enthusiastic, and passionate about the success of the business. One of Charlie's initiatives is growing Boyne Boat Yard's refit capabilities. He has aptly named it the "Ambassador Project," starting with the purchase and subsequent sale of a vintage 31 ft. Tiara Open and the purchase of a second Tiara to put in the queue. "It is a thrill to have the resources all in one place to do these kind of refits," Charlie said. Discover your insurance options today. Since you have purchased a classic or antique vehicle, you'll also want to properly insure your investment. When insuring a classic car, you must consider how you will be using the vehicle:
Will you only drive the vehicle to car shows or in a few parades? If so, your policy should be limited to those circumstances. Are you going to use your antique vehicle to go to the grocery store, hit the beach or visit a relative? Then your policy should reflect this kind of use.
