One more volunteer clean-up Saturday at playground
The Boyne City Community Playground needs your help. We had a great volunteer turnout last Saturday with everyone braving the snowy weather to help clean up the Community Playground. We were able to remove about half the wood chips and are requesting additional volunteer help starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24th to finish the job. (The weather is expected to be much warmer!) The wood chips will be loaded into dumpsters and taken to a disposal facility. Long pants, long sleeves, and closed-toed shoes are required; gloves will be provided. No children under the age of 12. Volunteers are encouraged to bring wheelbarrows, rakes, pitchforks, shovels and other helpful hand tools to assist with the cleanup.
