ROUNDS 4 RESEARCH -
DEADLINE MAY 31, 2015

We Need Your Donations to Support Turfgrass Research

The Canadian Turfgrass Research Foundation (CTRF) is excited to participate in the Rounds 4 Research (R4R) auction, operated by the Environmental Institute for Golf, GCSAA's philanthropic organization.

R4R is a fundraising program whereby a golf package is made available to the public to bid on through an online auction. The CTRF will receive 80% of the auction proceeds realized from rounds donated to the Foundation.  The proceeds received by the CTRF from the auction will be used to provide funding for golf and sports field turf management research projects.  The CTRF is currently funding 10 projects in Canada and investing over $500,000 in furthering turf management practices across the country.

Please help us generate resources to fund even more research by donating a package or packages of golf rounds.  You can support this effort by donating one or more packages.  Each package should be for golf for two or more individuals or "stay and play" packages for two or more people.  These packages will be auctioned online on www.biddingforgood.com .

In total, over $1 million has already been donated to turfgrass research by the CTRF.  This research assists every golf course and sports field owner and manager in Canada.  Please give back to support future efforts.  The CTRF needs your support to continue to generate positive results for the golf and turf industries.

To donate a round of golf today or to learn more about CTRF or the auction please go to www.turfresearchcanada.ca or contact Barb Manifold at 416-626-8873 ext. 225 or Ken Cousineau ext. 222.
