AERO to Offer Enhanced Membership
As you heard last week, we've been in the process of revamping our list of democratic schools, updating links, adding new schools. Soon we'll be adding articles that originally appeared in our Directory of Democratic Education.

Now we are in the process of enhancing our member list. We will be making the listings of our current members in bold print. We know the links are of great value to our members, bringing attention, students and teachers to them. So we do expect that all will renew.

In addition we will soon be able to offer banners to members at the top of the page where they are listed. This will be available in the next few weeks. But all organizational members will now receive a framable certificate of membership and a banner of membership they can put on their website. To be an AERO member, a school should be learner-centered, but not necessarily using democratic process.

Of course all members, including individual members, will continue to receive 10% discount in our bookstore, access to our members only videos and representative lists, the right to join the AEROlistserve discussion group, and the right to put up job listings for free.

To celebrate these changes, for the next 24 hours AERO membership will be reduced 25% for individuals, to $30, and 33%, to $50, for schools and organizations.
