We are writing you this week with gratitude as we just wrapped up our 10th annual conference. The conference was a resounding success, which you can read about below, and was made possible by your support. Thank you.
Additionally, as always, we also have news and resource items from around the world of educational alternatives. We hope you enjoy the content.
AERO Conference is Stunning
Keynote speaker Alfie Kohn with Clonlara founder Pat Montgomery
The 2013 AERO conference has ended, but in many ways, it continues. People there said this conference had a quality of presentation and interaction that went beyond even the wonderful ones they had previously experienced. Networks have been created to continue conversations started at the conference. We are putting out a call to people who have recorded any of the 60 workshops and 5 keynotes, hoping we can make them available to those who were not able to attend. Please email recordings and photos to jerryaero@aol.com.
We wanted to get a quick report to you with a more detailed one in the future. People came from at least 25 states and 10 countries. Many came up to tell us it was life-changing.

Summer Leadership & Staff Positions at Innovative Education Program
Note from AERO: We were excited to learn about Steve & Kate's Camp as it beautifully integrates alternative education into the summer camp experience! Take the time to learn more about them!

What would a national collective vision of how young people would transform education look like?
Imagining Learning is looking to do just that and they need your support. "We believe that young people have an innate wisdom and authenticity about how future generations would best be educated, but they aren't usually invited to participate in discussions or decision making in their communities."
