AERO Conference is in TWO DAYS!
|
The 10th annual AERO conference is this Wednesday, but it is still possible to register for the AERO conference. The best deal is the package including food, a dorm room and a low registration rate. But we can still make special arrangements with groups or with individuals who need financial help and we're doing that every day. We have good deals for college students if they contact us directly. Just reply to this newsletter, write to jerryAERO@aol.com or call us at (516) 621-2195.
NEW!: Single Day Passes to AERO Conference
The conference is almost full but we have room for a limited number of day passes. We didn't know if we'd be able to offer any until now, so be sure to reserve your pass while they last. If you purchase a day pass, you will be able to come to the AERO conference for that entire day, including the keynotes. Click here to reserve your pass today. You can look at the keynote and workshop schedule here. We'll take the day pass option down when they are filled.
Transportation
We have contracted with 3J's Limousine to provide some transportation for the conference. They will bring a group to the Brooklyn Free School visit and back and from the Hicksville Econolodge to the campus in the morning and back in the evening. They will meet some trains as well. To contact the company directly call (888) 948-1357.
If you have any questions or need to make any special arrangements write to jerryaero@aol.com.

Free to Learn: Why Unleashing the Instinct to Play Will Make Our Children Happier, More Self-Reliant, and Better Students for Life by Peter Gray
Peter Gray will be keynoting AERO Conference this week!
Our children spend their days being passively instructed, and made to sit still and take tests-often against their will. We call this imprisonment schooling, yet wonder why kids become bored and misbehave. Even outside of school children today seldom play and explore without adult supervision, and are afforded few opportunities to control their own lives. The result: anxious, unfocused children who see schooling-and life-as a series of hoops to struggle through. Read the full description here.
