Voice of the Middle East - June 2014

A CALL TO ACTION
Dear friends and partners,

I am delighted to inform you that after months of effort and planning, we are now providing food to the suffering people in Syria. While still continuing to provide to the refugees in Lebanon thanks to your support, we are reaching Aleppo and Afreen in Syria; two areas which are very dangerous, where few organizations are helping, and whose citizens have been suffering from constant war.

Aleppo before the war (picture above) was a modern and developed city in the Middle East, filled with life, commerce, entertainment, and above all peace. However, as you can see in the pictures below, war has destroyed all its beauty and left its people, those who have not faced the terror of torture and death, living in hunger, sickness, and fear... Some people go for days without food. They cry out due to the pain of hunger! Some babies do not even know what milk tastes like yet.

We do realize the danger of going to those areas, but we cannot but also realize the dire need for help. As our partners, and most importantly as our brothers and sisters in Christ, I pray that the Lord touches your heart to feel with the suffering Syrians in Lebanon or Syria. You may not be able to go personally and help, but with your support, you allow us to be the tool to do so. Please take action now by visiting our website or by clicking on the icon below.

In Christ,
George Saad

Please pray for Syria. Pray for its suffering children and parents, its suffering students and workers, its suffering sick and broken-hearted... In images such as this, words are useless, but all we ask for is to join us in prayer.
