The countdown has begun; time is running out. There are 6 U.S. warships on the coast of Syria. Israeli citizens are lining up by the thousands for gas masks. Iran and Syria have both threatened to destroy Israel if the United States were to take military action against the Assad dictatorship.
Living in the Middle East for over 30 years and having witnessed several wars in Lebanon and the surrounding countries, we have become "experienced" and knowledgeable in the tragedies and sufferings that occur during and as a result of war. When the bombing begins, it may be weeks or months before food is available for purchase. Already, as I am writing this e-mail, people are lining up at the supermarkets, buying stocks of food supplies and other necessities. That is why we have contacted you today. Because the situation is urgent and time is short. We live near the border of Syria and are prepared and waiting for your help. TREA has already been providing humanitarian aid to hundreds of Syrian refugees displaced by the genocide. Through these outreach efforts, many Muslims have given their lives to Jesus.
