Isle of Palms Beach Run July 19th

Start your Saturday with a beautiful run on Front Beach at Isle of Palms. All Isle of Palms Beach Run events are held on the flat, wide, hard-packed beach and begin and end behind the Windjammer. Event will be held rain or shine. Events include: 5K Run/Walk, 10K Run/Walk, 100 yard - 4 and under, 1/2 mile - 5-8 years old, 1 mile - 9-14 years old. After you have spent the day enjoying the beaches, kick off your shoes and wash off at a luxury Isle of Palms Beach rental.

Salute from the Shore July 4th

Save the date for July 4, 2014 to come to the South Carolina coast and show your patriotism as aircraft fly overhead to salute our armed forces. After dark be sure to catch the Isle of Palms 4th of July fireworks display located over the ocean near 14th Avenue. Sullivan's Island will also host fireworks on the 4th of July in the Town Park at dark. The Town of Mount Pleasant and Cinebarre partner to present a movie on the lawn at sunset. Residents and visitors bring blankets and lounge chairs to sit back and enjoy an outdoor movie on Cinebarre's giant movie screen with the beautiful Ravenel Bridge and Charleston Harbor for a backdrop.
