Anti-Semitism on the rise

May 2015

Our Legal Advocacy Initiative continues to expand as we welcome three new LDB law student chapters in the Windy City. Our new chapters at the University of Chicago, DePaul, and Kent could not come at a better time. The recent Kantor Center Report shows a 38% worldwide increase of anti-Semitism. Anti-Israel boycott (BDS) resolutions continue to surge, although many are successfully opposed. On a positive note, students at the University of California at Santa Barbara approved an unusually strong resolution condemning anti-Semitism. Our new Illinois chapters will work with us as we continue to fight against anti-Semitism, anti-Israelism, and the BDS movement. As always, we are grateful for your support, and we appreciate the contributions that have been arriving over the last few weeks.

Michael Strom, Decalogue Society of Lawyers

At Decalogue, we are ever vigilant to fight anti-Semitism.
We also look for opportunities to help our attorney and law student members develop their skills and careers. The recent National Law Student Leadership Conference hosted by The Louis D Brandeis Center for Human Rights under Law (LDB) gave us the chance to do both.
