News & Notes
Vendors Expo: The GIPHCC Board of Directors is working on plans to change the Vendor Expo; thus, there will be no Vendor Expo this current year. We are researching a new date in 2014. Stay tuned for further details.
Thank you to Dann Holmes, NSF International, for his highly informative discussion on lead-free issues at the November meeting.
Housekeeping Issue:
Due to the timeliness of the November m eeting issue, the meeting was extremely well attended; we had 50 attendees. However, only 30 of them had pre-registered. Primo's normally anticipates a 10% walk-in rate. You can all do the math. 20 is far in excess of 3.
PLEASE, pre-register in the future; it's much easier for Primo's and for the person checking in attendees.
Yearly Charity Drive: This year's Toys for Tots donations were taken to the Marines by Dave Heffner. Thank you to all who contributed; we were able to send an entire huge donation box of toys. Our speaker also generously donated $45 to the cause.
For those of you who might wish to make a monetary donation as well, the address is United States Marine Corps, Toys for Tots/Indianapolis, 3010 N. White River Parkway E. Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46208.
Name Change: Capital Mechanical Services will change the name of the company to CH Mechanical, Inc., effective January 1, 2014.
