Message From The President
 Thank you again, Denny Smith! Denny's presentation had all of us on the edge of our seats.
Now we have our new plumbing code, and I and several colleagues are now completely up to speed on it --thanks to Eugene Schuler and Brenda Dant. There were no major changes to code, so hopefully we won't have too many issues with our local building inspectors.
I don't know about the rest of you, but I am ready for SPRING! I have cleared enough snow and am ready to cut grass. The weather has been challenging: one day replacing sump pumps; two days later, thawing water lines!
I hope your year has started off well financially and may it continue!
See you at Primo's on the 20th.

Wounded Warrior Update:
In the last Ventstack Wounded Warrior Anthony Walton was still in a medically induced coma. On December 8th Larry Metzler, 2 adults from Central Indiana Young Marines, 1 Young Marine, and Dave Heffner travelled up to Kokomo to do the plumbing finish for the house. On December 16th, Anthony woke up for the first time in 2 weeks from the coma and quickly began his road to recovery. On December 22nd, the house was formally dedicated and presented to the Walton family; they moved into the house on January 8th. Anthony still continues his recovery from the fall, but is making progress.
Building this house was a huge effort on the part of many individuals and organizations, but the bottom line is that it got done. This Wounded Warrior has sacrificed so much for our country but has now gotten a symbol of the community's gratitude. For that, we can all be very proud. Thank you, GIPHCC, for your support and generosity in this monumental effort!

2012 Goal: Met & Exceeded!
In October of 2011 we set goals for the coming year. One of those goals was 5 new contractor members and 5 new associate members. We already have signed up 13
new contractors since Oct.--Deem, Gills Plumbing, McNeely Owned, Mann Plumbing, Inc. and True Energy Integrity Construction, LLC, Mister Qik Home Services, Wahl's Custom Plumbing LLC, Hope Plumbing, LLC, and Paul Henderson Plumbing, Blue Plumbing & Mechanical, L.D. Smith Plumbing, and Mansfield Plumbing Inc., The Drainman Inc., and Mr. Rooter of Central IN.
