The Helicon
Soon you will be receiving our annual request for your chapter Helicon article. In an effort to prepare for the next Helicon, I have been reading several 'old' Helicons. I love the smell of printed history. It reminds me of my Great-Great Aunt Lola's apartment near the campus of Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. She worked in the IU residence hall until 1961 and remained in her tiny apartment with one window and a Murphy bed for many years after her retirement. Her apartment always had that 'old' smell and I loved going there. She was a very interesting lady as are the ladies I am reading about in these Helicons.
