I AM THE CATHEDRAL
I was raised a Catholic, here on Long Island. My faith has always been very important to me and I raised my children Catholic and they were confirmed at the main Diocese in Rockville Center.

When my wife, Devin, came to the Cathedral in 2012, I accompanied her and I began to love the Episcopal services. I especially loved the choir.  As time went on, we both became more involved in the ministries of the Cathedral.  I have been an usher for three years, a member of the St Luke Altar Guild committee and have just become a Lay Eucharistic Minister.  I love the coffee hours and the community and fellowship of the congregation. I look forward to coming to church each Sunday and am grateful to be part of such a warm and caring community.

That is what the Cathedral means to me. And I am the Cathedral.

The Cathedral will be holding a Food Drive throughout the year to help St. George's Church Food Program, located in Hempstead, NY. St. George's food program provides food to low income families at no cost. Please join us as we work together to end hunger. Items needed are canned tuna, canned fruits and canned vegetables. There will be bins indicating where the items may be dropped off in the Cathedral's main entryway. Thank you for your support and helping those who are less fortunate!
The Cathedral Health and Wellness Committee Members invite you each Sunday to join us as we walk around the Cathedral grounds. The walk will take place following our coffee hour after the 9:30am Liturgy. We will begin in front of the Cathedral and will conclude prior to the start of the 11:15am Liturgy. Parents dropping children off for Sunday school are invited to join us. Anyone can walk on any given Sunday, weather permitting. The walk will not take place this Sunday.
