NEWS from the CATHEDRAL
Music in the Cathedral Series
Our first concert in the Music in the Cathedral series will take place next Sunday, October 25th at 4:00pm.

Organist Virgil Barkauskas, a native of Lithuania, will present a wonderful program, including works by Bach, Vierne and Cochereau, all suited to the Cathedral organ. He has performed throughout the United States and Europe both as a soloist and as an accompanist. Tickets for the recital will be available at the door. Join us for what will certainly be a wonderful afternoon of music.
Journey 2 Adulthood Retreat
Greetings!
As part of the community development component of our J2A Program, each year we offer a weekend retreat to Camp DeWolfe. This year is no exception.

Over the years, we have found that students who regularly participate in our J2A classes and retreats are significantly more comfortable in group discussions. They credit the experiences with helping them to strengthen their connection with God and each other as a faith community.

The retreat will take place on Saturday, October 24th through Sunday, October 25th. In the file attached here, you will find an overview of the weekend as well as the necessary permission forms for your child's participation. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Kristin Ochtera directly at 516.592.7033.

To confirm your child's participation, please respond via email to kochtera@incarnationgc.org  no later than October 18th.

Registration forms should be completed and returned with a check for $85.00 made payable to the Cathedral of the Incarnation.
The Cathedral Health and Wellness Committee Members invite you each Sunday to join us as we walk around the Cathedral grounds. The walk will take place following our coffee hour after the 9:30am Liturgy. We will begin in front of the Cathedral and will conclude prior to the start of the 11:15am Liturgy. Parents dropping children off for Sunday school are invited to join us. Anyone can walk on any given Sunday, weather permitting.
