On Sunday, September 20th we return to the 8:00am, 9:30am and 11:15am Liturgies. Our Choir Season begins and Sunday School will be held at the Mercer School.
I am the Cathedral since we were welcomed at the Cathedral 22 years ago as newlyweds. Since that time, the Cathedral has been home for us celebrating the births, Baptisms, Communions and Confirmations of our three children. Through the death of a loved one, we celebrated her life as a devoted member of this Cathedral and how touching it was to have the love and support of our Cathedral family which brought us joy amidst the sorrow.   While I always had religion in my life, the Cathedral has helped me grow closer to God and develop a faith that is a gift I am grateful for each day.  The Cathedral community is a family and together we have shared both good times and bad and yet, through it all, we can count on each other because God has brought us together and is always with us.

If there is one wish I have for anyone drawn to the Cathedral it would be that each person join in on a program or ministry here.  Simply put, my family's involvement in Choir, Christian Formation, the Acolyte program and much more, has left each of us with a lifetime of memories and a true sense of belonging to such a great Christian community.
Chris Scott.
