Preparation for Adult Confirmation and Reception into the Episcopal Church

Beginning this Sunday, following the 11:15am Liturgy, there will be a meeting for anyone who is interested in being received into the Episcopal Church or for adults who would like to be confirmed. The meeting will take place in the Resurrection Chapel in the undercroft and should last about an hour. If you are not able to make this week's meeting and still would like to be received or confirmed please email Fr Michael at  mdelaney@incarnationgc.org or call the office (516) 746-2955

New Junior Choristers Program

We've had lots of interest expressed in our new Junior Chorister program, announced a few weeks ago. In case you missed the notice, here's what's involved:

The Junior Choristers are a group of younger children who will rehearse once a week, on Tuesdays from 4:30pm - 6:00pm, and will sing twice a month at the 9:30am Family Eucharist, with some of the older choristers and the Women's Choir. After the 9.30am Eucharist, they will go off to their normal Church School classes at 10.30am. We're working together with our wonderful Christian Formation Program so that now children and parents can be part of both ministries.

The Junior Choristers will learn sight-singing, music-reading, and healthy singing technique in a fun, gentle, low key, no stress atmosphere allowing each child to progress at their own pace. This is a wonderful way for your child to meet new friends, have a lot of fun and to simply learn something new that will stay with them for life.

Join us in the undercroft or over at Mercer School this coming Sunday to meet some of the choristers and their parents. Ask us questions or email us at ltremsky@incarnationgc.org for more information.
